completionProject description
The aim of the project is to develop a new generation of detergents for washing fruits and vegetables, characterized by a high removal capacity of pesticide residues. The essence of the solutions being developed will be a combination of both the extremely high effectiveness of the developed detergents, and the minimization of adverse effects on human health (reduction of irritating and drying effects on the skin of the hands) and on the natural environment (high biodegradability). Cooperation with each of the project partners will result in the production of targeted detergents. Together with InventionBio, preparations will be prepared addressed to individual customers, intended for use in households. In cooperation with Wiesław Hreczuch MEXEO, preparations for industrial applications will be developed, addressed mainly to vegetable and fruit processors. The implementation of the project results is planned within 3 years of its completion.

Project description
The main goal of the Project is to respond to market challenges faced by the Company and to commercialize innovative products developed in InventionBio. The product to be implemented is a nanoemulsion for the transport of active substances (in particular cosmetics). It will be used primarily for the transport of active substances with a hydrophobic profile, for which the current carrier systems (liposomes) are not an effective way to obtain the expected results in applications in cosmetic formulations. The innovative nanoemulsion is the result of research and development works carried out by the Company, and at the same time it is an innovation at least on a national scale.

Project description
Development of a comprehensive biomass biotransformation technology and its cascade biorefining based on a prototype of a microbiorefinery
The subject of the project was to develop an innovative technology increasing the efficiency of the use of rapeseed meal by isolating a number of new end products (obtained in fermentation processes using selected probiotic bacterial strains of the Bacillus subtilis species). For the needs of the biorefining process, devices included in the microbiorefineries have been designed, constructed and tested, and processes that have not been used so far in such a combination have been optimized.
The result of the implementation of this project was, inter alia, the development of an innovative method of processing meal from oilseeds and filing a patent application in this regard – application no. P.421356: “Method and system for processing meal from oilseeds”.

Project description
As part of the project, a team of 5 specialized laboratories was established: microbiological, bioprocess, technical, biorefining and analytical. The expansion of the R&D center and equipping it with appropriate infrastructure, devices and tools were closely related to the implementation of the project on the prototype of a microbiorefinery and aimed at creating conditions for research on the installation and innovative technology of biomass biotransformation and its cascade (sequential) refining. This process leads to the separation of products with high added value, and ultimately to obtaining a residual biomass with a higher nutritional value compared to the starting material.
